Olimpo moved up two places to fourth in the Clausura standings thanks to a 1-1 draw at Lanus on Monday night.
Lanus looked set to continue their 100% home record from five games when substitute Silvio Romero put them in front in the 77th minute.
Romero had only been on the pitch for three minutes when his powerful shot from just outside the area went through the hands of keeper Laureano Tombolini.
However, with time running out Juan Cobo beat Lanus keeper Agustin Marchesin to an 89th-minute corner and headed home to rescue a point for Olimpo.
