Racing Club kept its hopes of qualifying for the Copa Libertadores alive with a 2-1 win over Banfield in Argentina's Apertura tournament Saturday.
Also Saturday, Quilmes edged All Boys 2-1 to move out of last place.
In Friday matches, Arsenal defeated San Lorenzo 2-1 and Godoy Cruz beat Gimnasia 3-1.
Gabriel Hauche gave Racing a 1-0 lead in the 21st minute, but Marcelo Carrusca equalized two minutes later, setting the stage for Claudio Bieler's winner just two minutes after that.
Racing improved to 25 points - eight behind leaders Estudiantes. Banfield stayed on 19.
Quilmes picked up only its second victory of the season. Mauro Matos gave All Boys a 1-0 lead in the 10th minute, but Juan Jose Morales scored in the 74th and Quilmes teammate Bernardo Romeo scored another five minutes later for the victory.
Quilmes improved to 13 points from 16 matches. Gimnasia is in last place with only 11 points from 16.
All Boys stayed on 22 points after 16 matches.
On Sunday, leaders Estudiantes play Independiente, Newell's meets Boca and River Plate plays Olimpo. On Monday, it's Huracan against Lanus and Argentinos Juniors plays Colon. In a lone match on Tuesday, Velez faces Tigre.
