President Massimo Moratti insists that Carlo Ancelotti is not in line to become Inter Milan coach, with Fabio Capello also linked with the job.

Moratti is preparing for the departure of Leonardo, less than a year after taking the reins, with the Brazilian strongly linked with the sporting director position at Paris Saint-Germain.

Former AC Milan boss Ancelotti is available after he was dismissed by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich immediately after the Blues' final game of last season and reports in Italy have suggested the 52-year-old has already turned down the role.

Moratti has denied such speculation and, while also revealing Marcelo Bielsa has pulled out of discussions due to personal reasons, revealed he was now weighing up potential candidates.

"With regards to Ancelotti, no-one has thought of him and certainly it's not because we don't value him," he told the club's official website www.inter.it.

"I am annoyed to continue to read that we have been turned down by Ancelotti. This is not true.

"I want to clarify that we have not had a single 'no'. Perhaps only from Bielsa, who had to end negotiations early for personal reasons and he was disappointed.

"We have a mountain of positive responses and now I have to choose."

Meanwhile Capello was interviewed by Sky Italia and when asked about Inter's reported interest, he said: "I am in Marbella (Spain), in the sun, with my grandchildren.

"I am not aware of what is being said as in my house, my grandchildren have taken over the TV.

"They make the decisions regarding the TV and watch Walt Disney."

When asked if he was surprised that Leonardo would leave Inter, Capello said: "Leonardo? Everyone decides which path they feel is right for their own career.

"I respect everyone's decision."

Moratti also insists he will not target a coach that is under contract with another club if Leonardo leaves.

Former Inter player Sinisa Mihajlovic has also been mentioned in the Italian media as a possible successor but he is currently the coach of Fiorentina.

"Mihajlovic belongs to another team and I, for the time being, will not make a move for those (coaches) who are under contract," Moratti said on the club's official website.

"We must be patient. We will do what needs to be done.

"Don't worry, this is my problem."

Leonardo replaced sacked Rafael Benitez at the helm in December and led Inter to a runner-up finish in Serie A and the Coppa Italia title.
