Alonso told the Bolton News: "I'm happy to be patient. "Of course, I'd be more happy if I was playing but I knew it would be hard to get into the team. That's why I'm here and why Owen trusted in me last summer. "My ankle feels perfect now. I'm just working hard and waiting for the gaffer to give me a chance to play. "There are a lot of games over Christmas in the league and in the cup, so I hope there will be a chance for me. But I don't know if it will happen because Robbo is playing very well. "The team is also playing very well so it has been difficult for the gaffer to make changes. To keep working is the only thing I can do." Meanwhile, the player nicknamed 'Tapas in the Whites' admits he is getting used to life playing in the reserve league. "It is a different style of football," he added. "But I am becoming familiar with it and I am trying to play my best. "The reserve team is like the third division in Spain.
