Alejandro Bedoya lashes out at Eric Wynalda after USMNT win
Alejandro Bedoya and the United States men's National Team secured their place in final round of 2018 World Cup qualifying with a 4-0 win over Trinidad & Tobago, and now have a showdown with Mexico in November on the horizon.
Bedoya, who has more than 50 national team caps to his name and played in the 2014 World Cup for the United States, started the game and went 66 minutes before being replaced by Paul Arriola, who scored the final goal.

On Wednesday morning, US Soccer legend and Fox analyst Eric Wynalda posted a tweet criticizing Bedoya in response to a follower. Bedoya saw Wynalda's message and slammed Wynalda in response.

Bedoya then sent a tweet directly to Wynalda referencing the controversy over the 1998 World Cup team (John Harkes was dropped from the squad, and Wynalda later revealed the decision came after Harkes had an affair with Wynalda's wife), and asking if Wynalda was bitter that Bedoya "played at better clubs." Bedoya quickly deleted the tweet and later admitted he stepped over the line.
