Agent cools Gonalons rumours
The agent of Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons has sought to cool reports linking his client with a move to Napoli.
Speculation in Italy has suggested that Gonalons has become a top target for a club that ended the 2012/13 campaign as runners-up to Juventus in Serie A.
They will be returning to the UEFA Champions League next term and are looking to make additions that will allow them to remain competitive on Europe's grandest stage.
France international Gonalons would fit the bill, with several clubs keeping a close eye on the highly-rated 24-year-old.
His representative has, however, been quick to point out that there has been no movement on the transfer front as yet and that his client remains fully committed to Lyon.
Frederic Guerra told Radio Kiss Kiss: "Gonalons to Napoli? You will have to ask the club.
"My client is on holiday at the moment and I have not spoken with him. I can also say that no clubs have spoken with me.
"I have talked to Gonalons before about Naples as a city, because we are friends and I am originally from there.
"He will come back from holiday on the 22nd. He had a good season with Lyon and he needs to relax.
"If there isn't any news before 27th June he will return to pre-season training with Lyon."
