Australian-born Nathan Burns contributed to both goals as AEK Athens beat Blackburn 2-1 in a friendly Wednesday, giving the Greek club its second win in the Sydney Festival of Football.
AEK scored twice in four minutes in a rain-soaked match, with Ignacio Scocco opening the scoring in the 21st minute and Nikos Liberopoulos doubling the lead in the 24th.
Phil Jones pulled one back for Rovers with a header from Morten Gamst Pedersen's cross in the 82nd minute.
It was the second straight loss for Blackburn in the four-team tournament, following its opening 2-0 defeat to Rangers.
