Nottingham Forest chairman Omar Al Hasawi has stepped down from his role for personal reasons.

Majority shareholder Fawaz Al Hasawi will replace him in the key position at the City Ground.

Fawaz told the club's official website: "I would like to thank my cousin Omar for all the hard work he has put in since I took over the club in the summer.

"I'm looking forward to taking over as chairman and intend to spend even more time at the club. I'm sure we will continue to go from strength to strength."

Dodds cancelled out Darren Carter's opener for Cheltenham at Whaddon Road when the ball fell into his path after a Tom Pope header had been saved by Robins keeper Scott Brown.

"I had a chat with Louis in midweek," Adams explained. "He was one of the individuals I pulled to one side.

"He scored two great goals at Fleetwood and he then went 10 games where I've picked him and he's not scored a goal. I was left scratching my head a little bit with him.

"I've put him back in there and he has worked hard for the team but also he's got his goal which will hopefully kickstart him.

"When you have such a fantastic run like we did at the start of the season you go back and look at the teams you picked and the one person who was in the team was Louis Dodds.

"But if you are going to play up front the one thing you need is goals."
