International soccer's all-time leading scorer has confirmed she plans to go for her third gold medal next summer in Brazil.

U.S. national team forward Abby Wambach says she's planning on playing in next summer's Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

"I'm going to vacation with my family over the next couple of weeks," Wambach said. "I'm excited to go and vacation, get away from a little bit of the whirlwind I've been on, to rest, relax and to be able to make maybe some of those future decisions."

Though Wambach says she plans on playing in Rio, it's still unclear if she'll be selected for the team. The Olympic roster size is 18 players, compared with 23 for the World Cup.
