MUNICH (AP) Borussia Moenchengladbach's miserable start to the season continued Friday as Pierre-Michel Lasogga led visiting Hamburg to a 3-0 win in the Bundesliga.

Lasogga scored twice and Nicolai Mueller claimed another to leave Moenchengladbach bottom of the league with four defeats from four games.

''It was a slap in the face for all of us,'' said Moenchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl, whose side next turns its attention to the Champions League. ''We have to go to Sevilla on Tuesday and we have to try to have a good game.''

Lasogga intercepted a poor back pass from Tony Jantschke and rounded the goalkeeper to open the scoring in the 11th minute.

`Gladbach tried to respond but lacked a cutting edge, and Lasogga beat two defenders to get to Ivo Ilicevic's corner and headed in his second a minute before the break.

Mueller made it 3-0 in the 52nd when he ran onto Jaroslav Drobny's long kick out and lifted the ball over Yann Sommer.

It got worse for the home side when Martin Stranzl was carried off with suspected concussion and a broken cheekbone. The `Gladbach captain had just returned from a long-standing left knee problem and hadn't played since the 2-0 win at Bayern Munich in March.

''It's going to be difficult,'' said `Gladbach coach Lucien Favre. ''I hope we can have other players available. But you can see the confidence is no longer there. That's why we have to keep it simple, we're making it much too complicated.''

Hamburg's second win provisionally lifted the side to seventh.
