Police in Greece say three people have been hospitalized with stab wounds after more than 100 youths attacked a Panathinaikos supporters club in central Athens.
Police say three people have been detained for questioning following the attack in the central Petralona area of the capital.
It was the latest sign of trouble in Greek football, despite a government campaign to crack down on violence and corruption in the sport, assisted by advisers from UEFA.
The Greek league started at the weekend with three of the 16 teams in the top division still to be determined due to a major match-fixing scandal.
