2015 Women's World Cup draw to be televised on FOX Sports 1
The official draw of FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015 will be televised live for the first time in 16 years.
The television program, called The Draw Show, will air Saturday, Dec. 6 at 12 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1 and and streams live on FOX Sports Go.
The draw, which will determine the 24 team assignments for the group stage of the tournament, is being held at the Canadian Museum of History in Ottawa.
This is the first time since 1999 that the Official Draw of FIFA Women's World Cup is being televised in English in the United States.
FOX Sports 1's coverage will include an hour-long studio show hosted by Rob Stone, live reports from Ottawa and a panel of former international women's players including USA's Heather Mitts, Germany's Ariane Hingst and England's Kelly Smith.
