ATHENS----Fifth-ranked Georgia Tech defeated Georgia 25-6 Wednesday in front of a Foley Field crowd of 3,176.
The Yellow Jackets (28-5) registered 25 hits including four home runs and were aided by 14 walks as the Bulldogs (11-22) employed 10 pitchers. It was the most earned runs and hits allowed by Georgia in school history and the largest margin of defeat in the series history.
