Woodford Reserve Mint Julep at Kentucky Derby will cost you a grand

The Mint Julep is synonymous with the Kentucky Derby. The pricetag on the Woodford Reserve version of the drink could make a blueblood blink.

It will set you back $1,000 to get one of the 90 Woodford Reserve Mint Juleps.

What makes it so special?

The beverage comes in a silver-plated cup, which is designed by Billy Reid reports Vanityfair.com. There's also a 24-karat gold straw.

And ...

The $1,000 Mint Julep is for a good cause. Its proceeds go to equine charities, either the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund or the Wounded Warrior Equestrian Program.
