TUCSON - Kendall Prince, the 2012 Big Ten Freshman of the Year, will join the University of Arizona Wildcat women's golf team as a transfer from Ohio State University, it was announced by head coach Laura Ianello.

"We're excited for Kendall Prince to join our team," Ianello said. "She's a great addition to the Wildcat family and she brings a lot of experience. She had a successful freshman year and I think she will thrive in our team's environment."

Prince, a native of Lake Oswego, Ore., earned second-team All-Big Ten honors and was an NGCA All-America Scholar in her one season at Ohio State. Prince has qualified for the 112th U.S. Women's Amateur Championship at The Country Club in Cleveland, Aug. 6-12, 2012.
