Wildcat Red will be sidelined indefinitely after hurting his right hind leg in the Sunshine Millions Classic.

The 4-year-old was at the lead early in Saturday's $250,000 race at Gulfstream Park, then fell way back and finished nearly 20 lengths behind winner Sr. Quisqueyano. Trainer Jose Garoffalo says Wildcat Red will have an MRI this week, but expects the five-time winner at Gulfstream will only need rest.

''He's going to come back,'' Garoffalo said.

Wildcat Red finished fifth in the six-horse field at the Sunshine Millions Classic. He won last year's Grade 2 Fountain of Youth and has earned $929,450 in purses over his 13 career starts.
