The Minnesota Wild announced a roster move Monday, recalling
forward Mike Rupp from the Iowa Wild and placing forward Torrey Mitchell on
injured reserve.
Rupp hasn't played for Minnesota yet this year due to a
lower body injury. He spent five games with Iowa of the AHL on a rehab
assignment. In his first year with the Wild last season, the 33-year-old Rupp
scored one goal and had three assists in 32 games and played in four playoff
games against Chicago.
Mitchell has not played in the Wild's last two games due to
a lower body injury. He has one goal and three assists in 22 games this season.
