Wild Rainbow edged Natalie's Goal by a neck after a long stretch duel in winning the $42,000 allowance feature at Monmouth Park on Friday.

Trained by Ben Perkins Jr., Wild Rainbow covered the five furlongs on the turf 56 1/5 seconds. The C.H. Marquez Jr.-ridden 5-year-old returned $9.80, $5.60 and $4.80 in winning for the seventh times in 22 career starts.

Natalie's Goal paid $8 and $4.80, while No Splits finished third in the field of eight fillies and mares and returned $7.60.

''If you look at her, she's maybe just 14 hands. She's really tiny but she's got a big heart,'' Marquez said.
