What to do about Suh? SNL chimes in
Everybody else has offered their take on controversial Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, so why not Saturday Night Live?
Suh became the hot topic during a sportscast-like skit in which comedian Jay Pharoah, doing an impression of CBS analyst Shannon Sharpe, suggested that Suh’s $100,000 fine earlier this season wasn’t nearly enough.
Pharoah called the amount a “kiss on the wrist” for someone of Suh’s wealth and then offered what he considered a more appropriate discipline.
“The NFL should burn his house down” Pharoah said.
He then made this bizarre comparison:
“It would be easier for me to have a baby and that baby be a walrus and I raise that walrus to grow up to ride a bike and that walrus to win the Tour de France than Ndamukong Suh to care about a hundred grand.”
Suh, by the way, could be up for another fine this week after kicking his leg out at Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers in Sunday’s game and getting whistled for a tripping penalty.
Not enough to call the fire department about, but possibly good for another small peck on the wrist.
