Westbrook not sure when he'll return for OKC
OKLAHOMA CITY - Wednesday, general manager Sam Presti said he wasn't' sure when Russell Westbrook would be back on the floor for the Thunder.
Friday, at the team's media day, and a day before the Thunder begin training camp, Westbrook didn't seem to be in a rush either.
The All-Star point guard missed all but the first two of the Thunder's playoff games last year after injuring his knee in the first round against Houston.
Friday, he said he's, "not sure if he'll be back to start the regular season. When you something like this happens, you have to take it slow."
That can't be good news for Oklahoma City, who made it to the Finals in 2012 with Westbrook and Kevin Durant leading the way. But with Westbrook out, the Thunder struggled to find a consistent second scorer. The result was a tired Durant and the Thunder losing in the second round in five games to Memphis.
