This "Wednesday WAG of the Week" makes one Chase driver very "Happy".
Name: DeLana Harvick
Husband: Kevin Harvick
Kids: Keelan (15 months)
DeLana is one of the most prominent wives in NASCAR. And her racing roots run deep. According to her bio on the "Kevin Harvick Foundation" website:
After visiting a race track at the tender age of three weeks old, she was hooked for life. She is a native of Kernersville, NC and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. DeLana began her professional career in racing as a public relations representative for Randy LaJoie. In 2001, DeLana and Kevin created Kevin Harvick, Inc., a premier racing organization competing full-time in the NASCAR Truck and Nationwide Series.
The business saavy (and formerly fire-suit wearing) WAG also has a sense of humor.
Back in 2010, after an incident with Harvick at Pocono, Joey Logano quipped, "His wife wears the firesuit in the family and tells him what to do. It's probably not his fault." Did DeLana get upset at the comment? Nope. And if you need proof, check out this t-shirt you can still buy at "Happy's E-Shop".
Congratulations to DeLana Harvick, the Shake and Bake "Wednesday WAG of the Week".
