Webster-Chan, Bull to transfer from Mizzou
The Missouri men's basketball team announced Tuesday that two reserve guards — Dominque Bull and Negus Webster-Chan — will transfer from the school.
A release said the two players who recently finished their freshmen seasons will look for teams closer to home that can provide more playing time.
Webster-Chan, a 6-foot-7 combo guard rom Scarbrough, Ontario, averaged 2.5 points and two rebounds per game for the Tigers this season. He started six games, averaged 15.5 minutes per game and played more than 20 minutes 12 times.
“I appreciate everyone at Missouri and want to thank Coach Haith and the staff for giving me this opportunity,” Webster-Chan said in the release. “I just want to find a style that is more suited for me, but I wish Mizzou the best of luck in the future and I’m grateful to the Tiger community for their support over the past year.”
Bull, a 6-foot-4 guard from Worcester, Mass., appeared in eight games this season, but played more than one minute just twice.
“I enjoyed my time as a Missouri Tiger, but wanted to expand my role on the court and hopefully do it in a situation that’s closer to my family," he said in the release.
