"Weird Al" Yankovic's Hannukah-style release of eight videos in eight days off his latest album "Mandatory Fun" brought the video Friday for his "Sports Song."
Two-word review: It's fantastic.
Yankovic leads what resembles a collegiate marching band and the lyrics take aim at unreasonable, blustery fans. You know, the kind that would blindly shout "we're great" and "you suck."
Even if you are that fan it will be hard dislike Yankovic's trademark quirk and upbeat tune. Sing along with the lyrics:
Your sports team is vastly inferior
That simple fact is plainly obvious to see
We're gonna kick your collective posterior
Of course you realize we're speaking figuratively
Our stats are thoroughly impressive
Our coach really has the Midas touch
Our players are fast and strong and brave
