DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) Cricket's world governing body has reported Australia's David Warner and South Africa's Quinton de Kock following their confrontation during the first test in Durban.
The International Cricket Council said Tuesday that Warner has been reported for a Level 2 offense and De Kock for a Level 1 offense, for ''conduct that brings the game into disrepute.''
The incident took place as players came off for the tea break during the fourth day's play on Sunday. Leaked stadium security camera footage shows Warner being held back by teammates while he directs comments toward de Kock as players walk up a staircase that leads to both dressing rooms.
The teams have until Wednesday to respond to the charges.
