CANBERRA, Australia (AP) Australia winger Joe Tomane is expected to be sidelined for up to two months, likely missing the three-test series against England in June, after injuring his knee playing for the ACT Brumbies in Super Rugby last weekend.
The Canberra-based Brumbies on Tuesday said scans on Tomane's right knee confirmed damage to the medial ligament, ruling him out of action for six to eight weeks.
Tomane has been the Brumbies' leading try-scorer this season, crossing for six, and was a likely contender for a spot in Australia's squad for the home series against England.
