ST. LOUIS -- After missing both Blues games last weekend due to the fly, St. Louis Blues defenseman Vince Dunn has been activated from injured reserve. As a result, the Blues assigned defenseman Jake Walman to the Chicago Wolves, one of team's AHL affiliates.

Dunn, 21, is currently in his rookie season with the Blues. He's posted seven points (three goals, four assists) and eight penalty minutes through 39 games. Dunn was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round (56th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

Walman has appeared in 34 games for the Wolves this season, recording 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) and 14 penalty minutes. The 21-year-old defenseman, called up when Dunn went to the IR, is still yet to see his first NHL action.

Last season, the 6'1, 202-pound defenseman dressed in seven regular season games and eight postseason games for the Wolves, posting six points (four goals, two assists) overall.  Walman was originally drafted by the Blues in the third round (82nd overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
