Video shows FSU's Nick O'Leary in scary motorcycle crash
Nick O'Leary was very fortunate to walk away from a May motorcycle accident in Tallahassee -- and to walk away with no major injuries.
The Florida State tight end was traveling on Mission Road, near campus, when a Lexus pulled out in front of him and caused a collision that sent O'Leary sliding about 75-100 feet, according to a report obtained by tomahawknation.com.
His motorcycle hit a city bus, which captured video of the accident.
O'Leary, a grandson of golf legend Jack Nicklaus, was able to walk away from the accident and was treated for his injuries at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, Tomahawk Nation reported.
Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher said at the ACC Football Kickoff that O'Leary "was banged up for about a month.” But Fisher said O'Leary has recovered.
O'Leary, a rising junior, caught 21 passes for 252 yards and three touchdowns in 2012. The former Palm Beach Dwyer standout is on the preseason watch list for the Mackey Award.
