Give Mike Vick plenty of credit: he learned his lesson from his last party.

As you might recall, Vick's birthday party, which was held in late June in 2010, was marred by a shooting outside the Virginia Beach club where the festivities were held. Though Vick was not a suspect and no charges wound up being filed, the event put the embattled Eagles quarterback in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

Fast forward to February, Vick has a plan to fortify his Super Bowl party in Dallas.

According to TMZ, Deux Lounge, the club holding the party, has hired three off-duty SWAT Team members to patrol the club's perimeter for the Friday night bash. That comes in addition to Vick's personal security detail, NFL security and added numbers in the club's standard security group.

Excessive? Perhaps.

But given that this is a party with its own movie
