Urban Meyer is recruiting them young these days
Some say it's never too early to start recruiting young talent. Perhaps there IS an age that should be considered too young.
Meet Sullivan Busser, a budding young quarterback from the Columbus area. His parents reached out to Urban Meyer, in an attempt to get the Buckeyes' head coach to notice their son.
He's ready to sign his letter of intent to play for the Buckeyes, as soon as he learns to sign his own name.
Sullivan Busser is two years old.
Of course, the "recruitment" of Busser is all an adorable joke, kicked off by the tot's parents. Ohio State received the following letter, which is as cute as it can get;
The kicker to this whole story? Urban Meyer responded.
Dear Sullivan:Your parents sent us your future Buckeye recruiting information. We will look for you to make your collegiate football debut in 2029 — you will need to gain a little weight, but our strength staff will take care of that! Go Bucks!Sincerely,Urban MeyerHead Football Coach
Here's hoping the Busser family frames that reply from Meyer and cherishes it forever.
See you on the field in 2026, Sullivan.
