UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture to compete on 'Dancing With The Stars'

We don't think he'll be a "Natural" at this, too. But you never know.

UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture will be back in an athletic endeavor this fall when he competes on the TV hit show "Dancing With The Stars." Couture joins Chuck Liddell as UFC legends who have participated in the series. Liddell was surprisingly light on his feet when he tried the dancing reality show back in 2009.

Maybe Couture will follow suit. He'll be paired up with the lovely Karina Smirnoff.

Couture, 51, last fought in 2011, a knockout loss to Lyoto Machida. He's regarded as one of the greatest champions in UFC history and one of only two men (B.J. Penn, the other) to win UFC titles in two different weight classes. Couture fought until he was 48 years old and held the UFC heavyweight title when he was 45 -- a pair of feats that may never happen again.

Karina Smirnoff will be Randy Couture's partner on "Dancing With The Stars." Lucky guy.

Could dancing be Couture's next endeavor? The former Olympic wrestler got a late start in MMA, too. More likely, though, this is just a one-off. Couture is staying fairly busy and recently starred in his third "Expendables" movie. He was the MMA fighter in the series before Ronda Rousey was even in the UFC.

Couture is currently on the outs with the UFC and working with rival Viacom. We hope he mends fences with UFC president Dana White soon. The UFC without "Captain America" in the fold just isn't the same. Fight Pass could probably come up with a better reality show idea than Couture is currently involved in.
