The Minnesota Twins today took pitchers Boof Bonser, Pat Neshek and Kevin Slowey off the 60-day disabled list and added them to the team's 40-man roster.
Neshek, the sidearm-delivery setup man, and former starter Boof Bonser missed most of the season because of injuries -- Neshek had elbow surgery; Bonser had shoulder surgery. Slowey was 10-3 with a 4.86 earned-run averaged before needing season-ending surgery to remove bone chips from his wrist.
The Twins now have 36 players on their 40-man roster, including shortstop Orlando Cabrera, whose contract expired at season's end. He has until Nov. 20 to file for free agency.
