According to a report on the team's website, the Twins lost two longtime members of their bullpen on Wednesday.
Jesse Crain, who's coming off a career season, has signed a three-year contract with the Chicago White Sox, and Matt Guerrier has reportedly agreed to terms with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Crain (1-1, 3.04 ERA, 62 strikeouts in 68 innings last season) could vie for the closer's job in Chicago, but he'll likely stabilize the setup role for one of the Twins' main AL Central rivals. The 29-year-old right-hander logged a career 3.42 ERA in seven seasons with the Twins.
Guerrier (5-7, 3.17 in 2010) rebounded from a subpar 2008 season with two outstanding years as the Twins' top setup man. The 32-year-old right-hander pitched in parts of seven seasons for Minnesota.
