Tweeting and Twinkies for Stoops and OU
NORMAN, Okla. - It's Oklahoma vs. Texas in the Cotton Bowl Saturday.
And everyone is Tweeting, too.
During Saturday's 50-7 loss to TCU, Longhorn cornerback Kris Boyd retweeted a suggestion he transfer to Texas A&M.
And Monday, Texas players were caught in a back-and-forth on Twitter. You can read more about here.
Texas is 1-4, off to its worst start in more than 50 years and the Sooners are 4-0 and heavy favorite for this week's game in Dallas, so what is there for Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops to talk about ?
"I don't have one," Stoops said when asked if he had a cellphone policy for his players. " I didn't until this week, so that's something that needs to addressed."
If you want to play here, you won't be on it," Stoops said of his feelings toward players and cellphones before, during and after games. "If you want to tell everyone you're at the grocery store picking up Twinkies, have at it."
