Titans vs. Jaguars Thursday Night Football Betting Preview

Special to Outkick The Coverage from OddsShark.com
Somehow still in the playoff picture entering Week 11 of the NFL season, the Jacksonville Jaguars will be looking to continue their against-the-spread dominance of the Tennessee Titans when the division rivals meet tonight.
The Jaguars are listed as 2.5-point home favorites against the Titans, and the betting trends for the week point out that Tennessee is just 1-7-1 ATS in its last nine games against Jacksonville dating back to 2010. That includes a pair of ATS losses to the Jaguars last season, with Jacksonville winning 21-13 as a 4.5-point home favorite and losing 16-14 as a 4.5-point road underdog in those two meetings. Each of the last three games between the Jaguars and the Titans have turned out to be UNDER results for totals bettors.
Jacksonville enters tonight's game with a modest 3-6 straight-up record to go along with its 5-4 ATS mark, but in the AFC South that still has them in contention for the division title --the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans share first place at just 4-5 SU each.
And the Jaguars are 2-1 SU and 3-0 ATS in their last three games and coming off a 22-20 win at Baltimore as a 5-point road underdog. That stretch also saw Jacksonville lose to the Jets 28-23 but cover 7.5 points on the road, and beat Buffalo 34-31 as a 3-point home underdog.
The Titans, meanwhile, are a step back in the division at 2-7 SU and 4-5 ATS on the season, and they're coming off a 27-10 home loss to the Panthers as 3.5-point underdogs. Tennessee's lone win since Week 1 came two weeks ago when they topped the Saints 34-28 as a 6.5-point road underdog, and they're just 2-4 ATS in their last six games.
Overall the Titans are just 2-17 SU in their last 19 games, but the Jaguars are also just 6-14 SU in their last 20 games at home according to the NFL betting trends for the week ahead.
Kickoff for the game is set for 8:25pm ET at EverBank Field in Jacksonville. Check out the complete Titans vs. Jaguars matchup report at OddsShark.com.
