The Tigers on Monday announced a two-year deal with infielder Jhonny Peralta with a club option for the 2013 season.
The contract is worth roughly $11 million, according to a major league source who confirmed the deal with FOXSports.com on Sunday.
Peralta will enter the 2011 season as Detroit
