One: After a scoreless first period, a quick succession of penalties in the second swung the momentum in the Lightning's favor. This wore out the team somewhat. Limiting the penalties taken has to be paramount as they move into the post-season.

Two: Columbus got back to their physical game in the third period with two monstrous hits by Jack Johnson and Corey Tropp, respectively. This is what the team has strived to be known for. Their hard-working identity must be present throughout the game.

Three: One goal is all that separates Boone Jenner from tying Rick Nash's franchise record (17) for a rookie season. He continues to impress on a nightly basis. Jenner is turning into quite the power forward and the future looks very bright for this young man.
