This NFL player had the best day on Twitter on Sunday
In case you missed it while you were watching the 49ers-Seahawks game, Buccaneers tight end Tom Crabtree was having a hell of a night on Twitter.
If you've followed Crabtree (who is very funny on Twitter) for any length of time, you know that he will periodically call out actor Samuel L. Jackson about using salty language on Twitter.
Crabtree pulled this move on Sunday.
Crabtree then retweeted some of the best responses by people who thought he was being serious.
@itsCrab @SamuelLJackson Because strong words make bad people? Go to Scandinavia please and recheck your theory.

This just made Crabtree step up his game against Jackson.
This led to a direct hit, because Jackson quickly sent out this tweet.
Crabtree's work was done and he was ready to call it a night.
.@SamuelLJackson Thanks for playing along buddy. Time to watch True Detective now!

However, the fun was just beginning for Crabtree. After Richard Sherman called out Michael Crabtree in his postgame interview, Tom Crabtree started to see something happen to his Twitter mentions.
So he decided to play along.
He even taunted Sherman.
.@RSherman_25 You didn't cover me that whole game (bc i was in bed cuddling my pug)

"What a weird night," he told us. "I have some people who think Michael Crabtree actually called out Samuel L., but I've been getting tweets intended for Michael throughout the playoffs."
Crabtree also told us he picked up 2,000 new followers on Sunday night.
