There's records, and then there's records...

Look, maybe you love seeing old minor-league records get broken. I mean, really old records. Or maybe you like freaky throwback (or fauxback) uniforms.

Either way, you should enjoy this nifty clip from Tuesday night, Oklahoma City vs. New Orleans in a "Pacific Coast" League game:

The PCL's been around for a long, long time.

For those of you scoring at home, Pat Misch just set not one, but two Pacific Coast League Records:

- most hit batters in one inning (4, and consecutively to boot)

- most hit batters one game (5)

Misch also gave up a two-run single to future superstar Corey Seager, so he can tell his grandkids about that, too.

Anyway, now we really gotta pull for Misch to make it back to the majors. In parts of six seasons, he's appeared in 78 games but won only four, and saved none. The Commissioner's always talking about attracting younger fans. And while Misch himself is hardly young, you know the kids do enjoy the occasional bouts of harmless violence. Pat Misch's records might be as close as we get to MMA in baseball these days.
