Green Bay Packers Pro Bowl linebacker Clay Matthews appeared Thursday as a guest on The Dan Patrick Show. Matthews and Patrick discussed this weekend's Divisional Playoff with the Falcons, quarterbacks, watching Matthews' brother Casey in the BCS Championship Game and, course, hair.

On the rematch at Atlanta: "[Matt Ryan] is a very smart quarterback. But I think more so than him, we need to stop the run. We did a poor job of that last time. Our tackling was poor, we just weren't communicating very well. And still it was a very close game, so if we can stop the run and force Matt Ryan to beat us with his arm, I think we've got a very good chance because our front seven and the pressure we can put on him and our Pro Bowl-caliber players in our secondary."

Do you want the Bears [in the NFC Championship]? "It doesn't matter who we have. Obviously I think the fans would like that more than anything. Especially when we're familiar with them, they're familiar with us, I think that would be the right way to have it.
