Texas starting safety Jason Hall will miss Saturday's game against Iowa State, the team announced on Wednesday.
Hall, a redshirt freshman, suffered a patellar tendon injury in the Longhorns' 31-26 loss to Oklahoma last week. Adrian Colbert and Josh Turner are expected to fill in for Hall, who earned a spot in Texas' rotation early in the season and started the last three games for the Longhorns. He's already earned a reputation as one of the Big 12's hardest hitters.
Hall had made 26 tackles this season with one sack and a pass breakup.
