DENTON, TX -- Troubled former Cowboys wide receiver Terry Glenn has run afoul of the law once again.

As reported by WFAA-TV, the 36-year-old was arrested on this week on charges of driving while intoxicated as well as possession of marijuana, the latter marking his third such arrest in the past two years.

Glenn, a Westlake resident, was later released on bond.

This is Glenn's fourth arrest in the Dallas area. On Sept. 24, 2010, Glenn was arrested and charged with marijuana possession while on Jan. 6 of of that same year, he was arrested on a charge of auto theft after failing to return a rental car.

On Jan. 25, 2009, Glenn was arrested on charges of marijuana possession and public intoxication after causing a disturbance at an Irving hotel.

His most notable indiscretion, however, came in 2006 while a member of the Cowboys, when Glenn was cited but not arrested for public intoxication after he was caught urinating behind a fast-food restaurant by an off-duty police officer.

Glenn's football career ended in 2008, when the Cowboys released him prior to the season after he was unable to recover from a knee injury. For his career, he compiled 593 receptions for 8,823 yards and 44 touchdowns.
