Tebow reportedly turns down $1 million to play football in Russia
By Ross Jones, FOXSports.com Tim Tebow has rejected a million-dollar offer to play American football in Russia, according to an R-Sport report. Moscow Black Storm owner Mikhail Zaltsman, who made the offer for Tebow to play in just two games, confirmed in an email that the polarizing quarterback respectfully denied the pitch. “Unfortunately agents of Tim Tebow turn down our proposal,” Zaltsman said in e-mailed comments. “I hope that its Tebow's agents’ fault that the contract wasn't signed and Tim couldn't do anything about it. “If it was his decision - it's very upsetting. And in this case we don't want him in our team anyway.” “We are looking for the people who pursue their dreams, not the ones who talk about it.” Tebow, who is leaving some hope that an NFL team will sign him, was reportedly swayed by his agents to steer clear of this opportunity.
