Teammate ticked off to learn of RG3 benching from ESPN, not Redskins
At around 11:25 p.m. Tuesday night, Washington Redskins snapper Nick Sundberg discovered that the team would bench quarterback Robert Griffin III in favor of Colt McCoy on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
But Sundberg learned about the quarterback change for the 3-8 Redskins via ESPN (either on television or via Adam Schefter), and that really ticked him off.
Boy oh boy I sure love when ESPN has information about our team before the players. #WhoIsThisUnnamedSource #IsmellArat

Sundberg probably isn't the only player who's feeling that way. He suggests there's a rat — in the locker room, on the coaching staff, in the front office — somewhere. Sundberg also retweeted the following:
@NickSundberg can't blame #shanny

Nope, former head coach Mike Shanahan, accused of leaking internal information to the press during his contentious tenure with Dan Snyder's Redskins, isn't Deep Throat this time.
According to Schefter, Redskins head coach Jay Gruden told the players of the quarterback switch on Wednesday morning.
Enough time had elapsed that probably all of the players nodded, "We already know."
