For the second time in his career, T.J. Taylor is leaving a Division I men's basketball program without even suiting up for a game.

Marquette head coach Buzz Williams announced Wednesday that Taylor is leaving the university and has been granted his release from the program.

"In TJ's best interest, he has withdrawn from school today for personal reasons," Williams said in a release.  "As a program, we are in complete support of his decision and we wish him all the best in his future as a student-athlete."

Taylor arrived at Marquette just a few weeks ago for the start of classes. He committed to the Golden Eagles more than a year ago and was a third-team All-American at Paris (Texas) Junior College in 2011-12.

The point guard originally committed to Oklahoma University out of high school, but an injury forced him to redshirt and he then left the university in December without appearing in a game.
