The Lakers may struggle this season, but they'll look good doing it.
The team wear their black Hollywood Nights
uniforms for select games during 2013-14. The new gear joins the
traditional purple and gold and the whites, which were introduced in
2002-03.
The Lakers are projected by some to finish in the basement of the Western Conference.
According to the Lakers, the Hollywood Nights theme in part acknowledges the
celebrities like Jack Nicholson that have long supported the team, but
also serves as a nod to the large number of people that work behind the
scenes to make up one of L.A.'s biggest industries.
