Jim Boeheim and Syracuse are off to a quick start with their 2015 recruiting class.

On Saturday, the Orange added four-star power forward Moustapha Diagne. The active and energetic power forward ranks No. 24 overall and is the No. 4 ranked power forward in the class.

But Diagne is a just piece of what Boeheim and his staff are assembling with their 2015 class.

Malachi Richardson, Franklin Howard and Tyler Lydon are all current pledges and all are potential early contributors at Syracuse.

Richardson, a 6-foot-6 wing, is a scorer. Richardson is capable of creating his own shot opportunities, is a strong finisher at the rim and can make shots out to the three-point stripe with consistency.

Howard will bring versatility to Syracuse. Unfortunately he sat out his junior season, due to a knee injury, but he hit the court this spring with Team Takeover. A 6-foot-5 guard, Howard is skilled, a talented passer and good scorer from mid-range and in.

Lydon, who committed to Syracuse last October, is a 6-foot-9, 200-pound power forward. Lydon is an effortless court runner with tremendous athleticism. He has good hands, touch and is a capable shooter out to the three-point arc. Lydon is ranked No. 63 overall in the 2015 class.

With four early pledges and all of the players ranked among the top 63 players in the country, Syracuse current sits at No. 1 in the 2015 class rankings.
