Looking at a box score is something anyone can do. Who lead my team in scoring? How'd we shoot from the field? And while that knowledge is useful, does it really earn you bonus points around the water cooler? That's why I'm here. I'm bringing you the S.W.I.M: Statistics Worth Increased Media. Let Joe from accounting regurgitate what he heard on the way in this morning; you're better than that. Use these nuggets to gain a unique perspective about last night's Pelicans/Bucks game.

For the first time since January 28th, New Orleans won a game in which they lost the first quarter by at least two points.

The Pelicans have won back-to-back games in which they scored at least 110 points. Prior to those games, New Orleans was 0-2 in such games in 2014.

Anthony Davis increased his FGA, AST, and PTS for the third consecutive game. The results in order: lost by 32, lost by 7, won by 7, won by 8.

Davis recorded a game-high in points and rebounds for only the third time this season and the first time since January 18.

A remarkable 40 percent of Tyreke Evans' 20-plus point games this season have come in March. For the first time in 371 days, Evans did not miss a three pointer or a free throw (minimum of one 3PA and FTA)

It had been nearly three months since the last game New Orleans won a game in which more than half of Eric Gordon's shots came from three point land.

Jeff Adrien is averaging 19.6 rebounds per 48 minutes in March.

Anthony Morrow has scored 25 points during this two game win streak. He also made at least half of his triples in both games while making two of his three freebies. The Pelicans last two game win streak? 25 total points, at least 50 percent from three in both games, and 2/3 from the line.

Khris Middleton is very quietly averaging 25.8 points per 48 minutes since the all star break, 3.8 more than Chris Paul over that stretch.

Ramon Sessions missed two of his first 35 free throws with the Bucks before missing three of seven tonight. Nate Wolters has the same number of turnovers in Milwaukee's last eight losses as he does in their last two victories.
