The Phoenix Suns assigned rookie center Garret Siler to the Iowa Energy of the NBA Development League on Sunday.
Undrafted out of Augusta State, the 6-foot-11, 300-pound Siler has appeared in six games for the Suns this season, averaging 1.3 points and 1.5 rebounds in 5.8 minutes. Siler was originally signed by the Suns on Sept. 27, 2010.
