Suh named to Pro Bowl team

Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was added to the NFC Pro Bowl team Sunday, replacing Justin Smith, whose San Francisco 49ers advanced to the Super Bowl.

Suh is the third Lions player named to the Pro Bowl this season, the most for the Lions since they had three players selected in 2005. He joins wide receiver Calvin Johnson and long snapper Don Muhlbachd. Johnson won't play because of injuries

This will be Suh's second Pro Bowl his first three NFL seasons in the NFL. He had eight sacks this season, his second-highest tally of his career. He had the second-most sacks (most in NFC) among defensive tackles.
