Bob Stoops posed with his wife and mother after winning at Notre Dame Saturday.

But don't worry, he isn't getting soft.

Stoops said he wanted the picture because Saturday's 35-21 victory might be the only one she's at all year.

"That's something for the rocking chair. I don't go back and look at anything," Stoops said. "The only reason I did it, my mother is not at many games. I would have taken it no matter where it was. She's getting older and not able to get a lot of games it was a great opportunity. I wanted to make sure I had one and send her one."

Stoops was adamant all last week saying the Notre Dame game was just another matchup on the schedule, despite the fact it was a game between two traditional powers, but it is curious Stoops would stop

So, when Stoops is taking pictures on the field after the game, it does seem a bit curious. He's not walking off the field in Norman and posing and it's tough to recall if he's ever done it after a win in Dallas, either.
